Priam Psittaculture Centre has been in operation in New South Wales, Australia since 1997. The Centre has established a network for parrot research and in situ conservation, and encourages, through education, an awareness of the conservation needs of parrots of the world.
The breeding facility’s design is based on world leading technologies and is in accordance with the aims and objectives of the CITES (Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).
Priam Psittaculture Centre is an Associate Institutional Member of ARAZPA (Australasian Regional Association of Zoological Parks and Aquaria) and is a member of ISIS (International Species Information System).
